This Koide hybrid is Tillandsia edithae X sprengeliana, (Cross #83, June 1988. It produces a short stem and open rosette like that of T. edithae and the inflorescence is reminiscent of T. sprengeliana.  The rose-color is striking against the heavily trichome grey leaves. The petals are rose as well.
