This complex Koide hybrid, is a cross of the natural hybrid of Tillandsia streptophylla X caput-medusae  (=T. El Guapo) and T. roseoscapa. It has a large semi-bulbous base with a caulescent growth habit, just like the T. roseoscapa. The leaves are light grey-green and lepidote. Grows up to 3 feet tall in spike, and 2 feet in diameter. It is quite impressive in bloom!
