This hybrid is slightly bulbous with thick leaves.  Like streptophylla it has  multiple upright spikes. This was an accidental hybrid that occurred in a California nursery inventory.

This hybrid was obtained from Frank Messina as T. streptophylla x novakii, however we suspect it might be a concolor hybrid due to the colors of the spike and flowers.
