Tillandsia pucaraensis

I originally acquired this plant from Werner Rauh, labeled Tillandsia creseus.  It was latter determined to be Tillandsia pucaraensis, and published by Renate Ehlers in 1989.

In 2020 it was considered a synonym of Tillandsia x guelzii, and now it seems that T. x guelizii is thought to be a natural hybrid of Tillandsia didisticha and Tillandsia pohliana, which is found in Argentina.

Our plants, originally from W. Rauh and then from R. Ehlers were collected in northern Peru, so it is unlikely that they are T. x gelizii.
