Another great hybrid created by Mark Dimmitt. The cross is T. chiapensis x roland-gosselini. This hybrid has few leaves which will blush pink when grown in high light. The inflorescence has upright reddish-colored spikes, typical of many of the Dimmitt T. roland-gosselini hybrids. It was registered by P. Isley in 2012 as Tillandsiia 'Mary Z' without any explanation of the name.
