Tillandsia chiapensis X ?

( 0 Reviews )

First release of one of my "accidental" hybrids. This has been grown from seed since 1990. Originally thought to be Tillandsia chiapensis, but as it grew it became clear that it is definitely a hybrid.  We have been propagating from pups and finally have some offsets to offer.  Blooming plants are 22 inches tall and 30 inches wide. The inflorescence is digitate and has multiple elongated pink spikes with purple flowers. The foliage is scurfy white like chiapensis but much softer.
