Collected as a Tillandsia species from Canon de Zapilote, Zumpango, Guerrero, Mexico.

Actually believe this may be a hybrid with some form of Tillandsia capitata and Tillandsia species -T657-SP which was also collected in the same locality and appears to be a small form of Tillandsia fasciculata.

Foliage can turn bright pink in high light but is typically a light greenish.
