This Racinaea hybrid was made by Jeffrey Kent using the Racinaea sp. from Amalfi, Columbia and crossed onto a Racinaea species from Trinidad. The hybrid is much larger than both species and has a bulbous base.

•  The Racineae species that was used in this cross was recently published as Racinaea minutipetala,  (Amalfi, Columbia)
